MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Bad Dog Boxing, LLC is to use the sport of amateur boxing as a tool to teach young men and women the value of a hard work ethic, team work, sportsmanship, and leadership. We take it a step further and show them the relationship between setting a goal and achieving that goal through self discipline and dedication. In doing this, we offer a facility with positive role models and a safe environment to help keep these young men and women off the streets.

PURPOSE OF BAD DOG BOXING, LLC

In addition to the goals of our mission statement, we intend to establish a productive, competitive amateur boxing program in Wichita and the surrounding area.

We also intend to provide a safe, properly coached, highly supervised boxing program that will be extremely fulfilling and rewarding to the youth in our community. Therefore, building champions in and out of the ring.

We will provide a disciplined, well-structured program that will promote responsibility and discipline. We will stress self respect as well as respect for others and the surroundings.

BENEFITS TO THE COMMUNITY

In may ways, Amateur Boxing is a prevention for juvenile delinquency. It accomplishes this by giving the youth a POSITIVE release of their hostilities and frustrations. While, at the same time, Amateur Boxing earns respect from peers and the community. Amateur Boxing requires self discipline, and dedication along with sacrifices thus building self esteem and character in our youth. This program will give the youth a positive place to occupy time after school allowing them to stay out of trouble and off the streets.

The major benefits are that the young men and women receive positive role models and attention that is often lacking in their family unit and at school.
