OUR STAFF

The staff at Bad Dog Boxing, LLC is made up of a team of volunteers dedicated to the sport of boxing and, most important, the youth of our city.  Each one of our coaches have prior boxing experience and knows what dedication, sacrifice, and commitment can and will do for the individual athletes.

Each coach has his own area of expertise and willingly passes this knowledge on to the athletes he is training no matter how far the athlete wishes to go with the sport of boxing.

We are very honored and proud to have such positive role models giving so much to the youth of our city.  This is how champions are built in and out of the ring.

BENEFITS OF
AMATEUR BOXING

Although the sport of amateur boxing is considered to be an individual sport, we at Bad Dog Boxing, LLC have chosen to take a slightly different approach.  Our athletes train as a team and compete as a member of that team.  In doing this, we are more capable of promoting self-esteem and good sportsmanship  while allowing others to take on leadership roles.  This approach transfers into respect for oneself while teaching the youth to participate as a part of a team and offer encouragement to other team members no matter how large or small the individual accomplishment.  All athletes who compete still rely upon his or her own athletic abilities in the ring and are recognized and rewarded individually for those accomplishments. It is our main goal to make the sport of amateur boxing a valuable experience for every athlete passing through our doors.  Boxing teaches sportsmanship, conditioning, and self confidence while building character.

Amateur boxing is an ideal sport for the athletes who are not involved in school sports and athletes who are not attracted to team sports.  It still promotes the team spirit while allowing the athlete to compete individually.  Boxing promotes recognition in a very positive way allowing young athletes to earn the respect they are searching for.
